Weekend Warrior

Here are lots of pictures of Davis over the past few weeks. We've kept busy. Chris has been working alot, thus, we've had to find extra things to do to keep entertained. We visited the Lamm's in Wilson (Beth's parents), and Mrs. Janice cooked a wonderful meal. Davis got to try chicken pastry and loved it, as well as a sneak taste of caramel cream cheese pie. YMMMM. Needless to say, we don't eat that way at our house. Mommy can hardly boil water.

Davis hung out while Beth and I planted some shrubs at her house. It was a little cool outside, but beautiful and sunny. He was just itching to get down in that dirt and make a mess. We also went for a bike ride, which, too, he seemed to enjoy.

Chris and I took Davis to Briley's Pumpkin Patch, but Davis was not as thrilled as we'd hoped. It was late in the evening when we got there, and ran into his bedtime. He was more in awe than anything, but he got to see sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, donkeys, and even a llama. We tried taking his picture with a pumpkin, and I got a "snap" in, but that was right before he toppled over and hit his face on a pumpkin. Bad mommie.

Davis had a playdate with Makenzie also; Makenzie is the 2 yo daughter of our friends Scott and Georgia. Makenzie did most of the playing and Davis just stared in amazement. We were able to catch a few pictures of them together also.
