Our friends Scott and Georgia had a Star Wars birthday party for their son Evan's big number 6. The kids played Star Wars Bingo, made lightsaber weapons out of pool noodles, made/decorated Star Wars costumes, got to swing at and open a Darth Vader pinata full of cool toys/candy, eat Star Wars cake with Yoda on it, and best of all, all the kids got to take their shot at Chris, dressed as Darth Vader, in a final showdown, which, if you are not aware, is the secret sequel, yet to be released. Look for it in theaters soon. Davis was very excited when Georgia let him get a taste of the birthday cake icing when mommy wasn't looking. There was, however, evidence left behind (see the slideshow).

Alison & Chris, thank you so much for everything yesterday. You guys mean more to our family than Scott, the kids, and I can express. You two go way out of your way to do things to help us whenever our kids have a birthday. Because of you, the Salter kids birthday parties go off w/ out a hitch. I know Evan had a great time. By the way, Davis gave me "the look" & I could not turn him down about the icing!
