Baby Carter Myers had his repair surgery today to correct his diaphragmatic hernia (to get all of the intraabdominal organs out of the chest cavity and back down into the abdominal cavity), and he seems to be doing well, and his lungs are expanded as hoped. He's only a month old, and he's fought harder and with more bravery than most of us will ever know.
Keep baby Carter, his parents Brad and Kellie, and his 4-legged sister "Lucy" in your prayers.
